Saturday Night Residents - Applications Open!!!
Do you have an awesome idea for a party, but need somewhere to host it? Or perhaps you’ve been running an event for a while, but are looking to scale it up? Then we have the opportunity for you!
Applications are now open for nightlife residencies at The Glitch. Successful applicants will get a free, full-venue hire up to once a month on a Saturday night at The Glitch for a year, as well as a range of discounts and benefits at the venue too. What’s more, events that sell less than 50 tickets will keep 70% of ticket income, and events that sell more than 50 tickets will take 100% of all ticket income!
We’re looking for events that will bring the party, and that feel confident in attracting 50+ audience members on a regular basis.

Applications close at 23:59 on Friday 25th April. We expect to have notified all applicants of the result of their application within 3 weeks. We also expect the first events will start in June or July
Short Runs
For artists looking for a low financial risk way to try work, we also programme short runs of 1 to 3 performances on a rolling basis. Hire of the Spacement for a one hour performance slot is £75 – and you keep 100% of your box office.
We’re open to hires for all sorts of work, including but not limited to comedy, small scale theatre, music, magic, spoken word and more. We offer programming slots on a rolling basis.
The Spacement can seat 30 people. The space comes equipped with a professional sound system that can effortlessly connect to your laptop or phone, a projector and screen with HDMI connector, atmospheric drop pendant lighting, and fadable birdies controllable from our wall mounted lighting box.
The Spacement is available for performances Monday to Sunday from 6pm. We offer two slots every night:
6pm - 8pm (7pm show)
8pm - 10pm (8:30pm show)
Hire rate: £75
Access Notes: The Spacement is not wheelchair accessible. There is a staircase of 15 steps with a handrail on the left (descending). There is an accessible bathroom on the street level.
